What if all my trash does not fit in my trash can?

We encourage you to use our doorstep collection service regularly. For the safety of all residents, we recommend that you only fill your container with the trash that fits. Please note oversized items such as furniture, appliances, large non-flattened boxes, etc will not be collected.

What is the bag size and weight limit of the bags of trash?

The typical bag size is 13 gallons, but because the strength of various bags varies, the weight it can hold also varies. Each bag must be able to hold all its contents during transport, without ripping or leaking. Oversize bags or small grocery-style bags are not recommended. It is best to avoid over-filling bags so that each bag can be securely tied and still maintain its integrity. All boxes must be broken down and placed behind the trash as well.
